Splatoon U.S. Open Tournament
Inking your way to E3
Attention Inkling Boys and Inkling Girls! It is time to dust off your Wii U because Nintendo is organizing an Splatoon e-tournament for a chance to win a trip to E3 2017. Battlefly.com will be hosting the e-tournament which will begin with the preliminary round on April 22nd; and the finals being held on April 29th.
The Splatoon e-tournament will make use of different game modes, including Turf War, Splat Zones, Tower Control, and Rainmaker. The e-tournament will be open to United States residents 18 and over, with a Wii U, a copy of Splatoon, and internet connection (obviously). In order to enter you need a team of four with a fifth person as an alternate back-up; and register your team at http://battlefly.com/splatoon.
Once your team is registered, you will need to log in at Battlefly.com, and set up your match using Battlefly's Private Match Chat. The top 16 teams in the qualify round will move on to the finals. Once there, the teams will play Turf War, Splat Zones, and Tower Control; in succession in single-elimination best-of-five play until only two teams remain. These two teams will move on to the Grand Finals where they face each other in Rainmaker Mode in order to determine the winner.
Do you, and your friends, have what it takes to become e-champions of Splatoon and ink your way to E3 2017?
