Nintendo Reveals Details for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

Mario Kart Races for the Starting Line on April 28.

Nintendo Announced today more details about the upcoming remastering of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for the Nintendo Switch. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe contains all the characters, tracks, karts, and DLC from the Wii U version; plus a number of new features which will make Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for the Nintendo Switch, the definitive version of the game.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will add five new characters to the roster. They are Inkling boy and girl, King Boo, Dry Bones, and Bowser Jr.; as well as two new karts inspired by Splatoon. The players will be able to wield two items as in Mario Kart Double Dash!!, and a new Smart Steering control option will be created. Also, item-stealing Boo and jumping feather make a return to Mario Kart.

Multiplayer Battle Mode will be revamped bringing eight Battle courses. The Battle Modes are Balloon Battle, Bob-omb Blast, Coin Runners, Shine Thief, and a new mode called Renegade Roundup where one team tries to capture the opposite team and throw them into jail before time runs out.

Will these new and remastered features be enough to make you buy Mario Kart 8 again? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will race for the starting line on April 28 for a MSRP of $59.99.
